Bert & associates are awesome. I started servicing my BMW couple years back. They are now my default repair shop for all family vehicles. When service is required, it's expertly provided. Perhaps more important, when work is unnecessary or minimally resolved, they explain why, to quickly get me back on road. I always leave the shop feeling work is thorough with safety in mind. I was referred here by another mechanic to help out with my A/C. I told the owner, Bert Jones that I was getting rid of my car in the fall and did not want to spend a lot of money. I only wanted the A/C charged and a sealant put in hoping it would last the summer. I was very impressed that my wishes were respected and no one tried to sell me on a higher priced repair. Everyone was very friendly and I was very happy! About 6 weeks later I noticed that the A/C was not as cold and wanted to get it back in for another recharge. I had an opportunity to speak to Bert for a few minutes and he was awesome! I even left there with a no charge for the recharge! This is an honest business and I would highly highly recommend!

I was in Lowes Hardware the other day when I ran into a guy with an Auto Specialties t-shirt. Not wanting to waste his time I asked the gentleman if he had a few minutes to spare. Within a few minutes of speaking with him I was convinced he had a wealth of knowledge about my truck. On Monday I decided to take off work and drove down to Huntersville to see if he could help me with my truck. Within a few hours he called me and said my truck was fixed. I'm not big on reviews but I feel my experience was so good I needed to tell more people about this hidden gem.

Bert and his boys at Auto Specialties of LKN were terrific with my 2008 X5 with over 100,000 miles. I had a front end noise that resulted in replacing the front struts and left axle, and when that didn't solve the problem they dug in and found the culprit. They're problem solvers! Thanks guys.

Great experience. I had previously received a couple different quotes from other companies that seemed unusually high. Bert gave me a very reasonable quote on the repair. While I had been told by others that would need 1-2 days to fix, ASLN was able to complete in one day. was nice to have the loner car to use during that time. This morning, I drove 20 minutes past 4-5 auto shops to come to Auto Specialties of Lake Norman because I read such positive reviews. I have to tell you this was the best decision! The past 3 weeks I was having to jump start my car multiple times a day, and believed it was battery. I got a new battery installed and still happening, so I thought it must be alternator. I arrived at Auto Specialties for 1st time and they QUICKLY diagnosed that it was ONLY a bolt missing from the battery connection. Thus he didn't charge me anything -- the trust and honesty of the owner was beyond impressive and earned my business for life!

I was treated with great customer service and was contacted promptly after leaving my vehicle to be looked over. I received a phone call and was given information on exactly how and when they would be able to get my car back in working order. I was given an extremely fair price and I was surprised by how quickly I could expect to have my car back. I have been in the Charlotte area for a little over a year and had still not found a reliable mechanic - I think I have found that in Auto Specialties of Lake Norman. Their customer service goes above what I have come to expect for my auto services.

My daughter lives in Charlotte and had some issues with her car. After going to a dealership, they gave her an estimate for repairs. We wanted a second opinion, and my nephew gave us Auto Specialties info. We called and spoke to Bert. My daughter took her car and we had it back in two days after they replaced valve cover gaskets and the ABS modulator for the brakes. Bert is very nice and honest, and his rates beat the dealership prices. We were amazed to get the car back so quickly, and they have earned our business for our daughter's car, who lives 2 1/2 hours away from us. They are wonderful!!

My daughter's AC started having problems today, and she has a beach trip planned. I told Bert, and he worked me in right away, even on a Friday. He spent time trouble shooting and figured out the problem. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. AC is cold and ready for the beach trip thanks to Bert. Great service!

Burt and the rest of the guys were great. My oil pressure switch on my jeep was broke and he only charged me 320 for the all fix. He even fixed a hose for me for free. One place was gonna charge me 900 for the fix. These guys are honest and do great work. I would recommend this place to everyone.
