Meet Our Team

Bert, Owner

• Bert is an ASE Master Technician with over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry and has proudly owned and operated the shop for the past 18 years. He has a true passion for working on cars, solving problems, and fixing just about anything mechanical. When he’s not at the shop, Bert enjoys classic cars, motorcycles, off-roading adventures, and spending time on or around the water.

Peyton, Receptionist & Business Assistant

• Peyton serves as the shop’s receptionist and business assistant, bringing over 5 years of customer service experience to the team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and recently obtained her real estate license. As Bert’s daughter, Peyton has grown up around the automotive industry and enjoys helping continue the family business. She loves the technology and analytical side of business just as much as connecting with customers and helping solve problems. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, being with her dogs, and staying active through fitness and workouts.

Winston, Shop Dog

• Winston is the shop’s four-legged team member and unofficial greeter. Whether he’s supervising repairs, welcoming customers at the front desk, or relaxing around the shop, Winston enjoys being part of the daily action. He loves attention from customers, hanging out with the crew, and making the shop feel a little more like home.

Brendan, Foreman

• Brendan brings 11 years of automotive experience to the shop and is a GM ASEP graduate with extensive training in GM vehicles. He enjoys the hands-on nature of automotive repair and especially values the critical thinking involved in diagnosing difficult issues. Outside of work, Brendan spends his time fishing, riding dirt bikes, hiking, playing video games, and making memories with his family.

Slim, Automotive Technician

• Slim has over 5 years of automotive experience and holds professional certifications in engine repair and suspension systems, along with a Diesel Masters certification. He has a strong passion for cars and enjoys figuring out how things work by taking them apart and rebuilding them. Outside of work, Slim enjoys working on cars in his free time and spending time gaming.

Ryan, Automotive Technician

• Ryan has over 5 years of automotive experience and holds certifications for the Ford EcoBoost family of engines as well as gas-powered vehicles. He enjoys the mechanical side of automotive repair, especially working on suspension, brakes, and tires. Ryan also enjoys taking things apart, putting them back together, and learning how different vehicle systems work across a variety of makes and models. Outside of work, he enjoys working on cars and spending time outdoors in nature.
